Master of Science in Medicine (pain management)

I have completed the Master of Science in Medicine (Pain Management) at the University of Sydney which provides advanced education in pain management for graduates in medicine, dentistry, nursing, physiotherapy, psychology and other disciplines involved in pain management. The Pain Management program at Sydney Medical School explores the problem of pain within a multidisciplinary team framework to investigate the extent of the problem in the community. The program aims to deliver advanced education in pain management by providing clinically relevant teaching that helps students expand their knowledge of the basic sciences, concepts and procedures of pain assessment and management. The course is recognised for Continuing Medical Education/Maintenance of Professional Standards Program points by the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners, the Royal Australasian College of Physicians and the Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists.

By using this advanced knowledge I can apply this science to all my patients with their presenting conditions.
